【3】 置き換え エクササイズ（簡単な日本語から英語）
1)　　みんなが私の新しいアイディアを素晴らしいと上司に伝えたが、彼は頭が固いので使えないと言った。
わたしの新しいアイデアは素晴らしいと、みんなは常時に言った。しかし彼はたいてい新しいものを理解しようとしないので、ノーと言った。
Everyone told my boss that my new idea was really good. But he mostly tended not to understand something new. So he said NO to my idea.
1) 「頭が固い」を「新しい物を理解しようとしない」と捉えられたところ、とても良いですね！
But he mostly tended not to understand something new
⇒ 「新しい物を理解しようとしない」は、そのままシンプルに表現してみましょう。
But he usually doesn’t try to understand something new とすると、自然に分かりやすくなりそうです ^^
 
2)　　行きつけの穴場のレストランに今度彼女を連れて行こうと思ってるんだ。
わたしがよく行くレストランは、多くの人にまだ知られていないがいいところだ。だから今度彼女と一緒に行こうと思っている。
I often go to the restaurant. It isn’t still unknown by a lot of people, but it’s very good place. So I am going to visit there with my girlfriend very soon.
2) 「行きつけの穴場のレストラン」を、上手に置き換える事が出来ていますね♪
英文も、文を分けて表現されてるところ、とても良いです！

⇒ isn’t unknown = is known になってしまいますね ^^
It’s still unknown… と表現出来そうですが、「多くの人に知られていない」は「少しの人しか知らない」と考えて Only a few people know about… とすると、自然な表現になります ^^

2) Good!
⇒ What would you like to do during the vacation? とすると、更に自然になりそうです ^^
If I were he, I’d like to visit nature attractions for my family vacation. :-)
 
3) What is your family interested in doing during the vacation?
⇒ こちらも What would your family like to do… とすると、更に良さそうです ^^
3) This is another good question!
It’ll pretty much depend on his children’s age and interest to decide the best place for the vacation!
