Day 12

1)  ご飯の方がパンより腹持ちが良いから、ダイエットにはおすすめだよ。

パンよりごはんを食べるほうがいいよ。なかなかおなかが空きにくいから。ダイエットするなら、ごはんをたべるといいよ。

I think it is better to eat rice than bread, because you will not get hungry easily. If you try a diet, why don’t you eat rice?

1)Excellent!! it is better〜と、とても自然な表現ができていますね!「腹持ちがいい」は「なかなかおなかが空きにくい」ということですよね!置き換えもばっちりです♪not get hungry easilyと、とてもわかりやすく表現できています(^^)dietだけだと「食事」という意味でよく使うので、「ダイエットする」はgo on a dietとすると自然ですよ!

2)  試験が近いので、明け方4時まで勉強をしたので寝不足です。

試験がもうすぐなので、朝の4時まで眠らないで、勉強を頑張った。だからすごく眠い。

1)  運動をすることはとても良いことだが、度が過ぎると体に悪いこともあるので気を付けて

運動することはとてもよいが、やるすぎるべきではない。健康によくない場合もあるので、気をつけてやってjyださい。

I think it is really good to do some exercise, but if you do that too much, it is sometimes bad for your health. That’s why you should do that carefully.

1)Great!!「度が過ぎると」は「やりすぎるべきではない」と考えることができますよね(^^) too muchと強調されていていいですね♪「~することもあるので」とifを使って表現できているのも自然でいいですね♪「気を付けて」をcarefullyを使って表現できているのもいいですね!shouldを引き出せたのもさすがです(^^)



2)  新入社員が我々の盲点を突き、私達が抱えていた問題を解決したので、社長はとても感心していた。

その新しい社員はわたしたちのだれもが気づかなかったことを指摘し、わたしたちが抱えていた問題を解決した。だから、社長は彼にとても感心していた。

1) 「矛盾している」を「違う」とシンプルに置き換えられたところ、良いですね
英文も伝わりやすく、素晴らしいです! Good on you!

2)  大切な会議があったので、眠気覚ましにコーヒーをたくさん飲んだ。
大切な会議に叱責するので、眠らないようにコーヒーをたくさん飲んだ。
I am going to attend the improtant meeting, so I drank a lot of coffee not to fall asleep during the meeting.
2) 文意を捉えて、易しい表現に置き換えることが出来ました! Well done!
こちらもシンプルで伝わり易い、とても良い英文になりました 
非常に細かいのですが「会議があったので」は、そのまま I was going to… と表現すると、更にシックリきそうです ^^

I agree with Kevin. Maybe your mother will be very happy for whatever you give her, but as he talked, it is also nice to enjoy visiting gallaries or go watching her favorite movie together. I really think you don’t always have to give things to show your love to her.

1) 「背伸びする」を金銭面で捉えた置き換えですね 良いと思います!
英文も分かりやすい表現で、良い仕上がりになりました! Great!

わたしは去年アメリカに行ったとき、日本とアメリカの文化においての違いがあることを本当に感じた。

1)Excellent!!「言いなり」は「言う通り」という意味ですよね!alwaysを使って強調されているのもいいですね(^^)follow my motherというとより自然です!その部分だけだと、「いつも母にくっついている」のようにも聞こえます!「母がしなさいということをすべてする」のように置きかえて考えるとより伝わりますよ!

2)  ここは巷で噂のレストランで、パンケーキで有名なので、行ってみたい。
このレストランはたくさんの人の間で最近とても有名だ。特にパンケーキがおいしいと聞くので、ぜひ行きたい。

Day 05

Day 03

1)  He did a wonderful job. No one expected this so everyone was surprised and the boss was impressed by him.

Even though everyone hadn’t thought he could do that, he did very good work. So his boss thought he was really good.

1)Wonderful!!「意表をついて」は「できないとみんなが思っていた」ということですよね!とても自然な置き換えですよ♪「誰も~できない」とnobody thoughtやno one thoughtと表現してもいいですね♪「感心していた」も「誇らしかった」とわかりやすく置き換えています♪really で強調されているのもいいですね♪

2)最近忙しくて、自炊する時間が取れないので、外食ばかりだ。

1) 「履きつぶした」の意味合いを噛み砕いて、易しい表現に置き換えられているところ、とても良いですね♪

⇒「履きつぶす」は、たくさん履いて「ボロボロ」だったり「壊れた」りした状況を指すので、そのニュアンスまで出せると尚良いですね ^^
