1)　授業中にねむってしまったので、メモをとれなかった。友人はいつも勉強熱心なので、彼に助けを求めればいいと思った。彼のノートを貸して欲しいと頼んだ。しかし、彼も眠ってしまったと言われた。
2)どちらのプレゼンも素晴らしかった。完璧だし、どちらがより優れているか判断するのは難しかった。だから、どちらのアイデアも使い、組み合わせて、このベストセラー商品をつくった。

1)　　I fell asleep during class and couldn’t take any notes. My friend is a hard worker, so I was expecting him to be taking notes, but when I asked him if I could borrow his notebook, he told me that he had also fallen asleep.

2)　　Both their presentations were fabulous and right to the point, so we couldn’t decide which was the best. That’s why we chose to combine their ideas and we came up with this bestselling product.

So I asked him to borrow me his notebook.
borrowは「借りる」ですので、lend「貸す」を使ってあげるとよいですよ。
この二つの単語紛らわしいですので、しっかり押さえておきましょう。
borrowを使うなら、
So I asked if I could borrow his notebook.という感じにできます。

They were perfect and hard for us to judge which one it is better.
hardの前に it wasを挿入するのもアリかと思います。
また、which～の部分ですが、itはなくしてしまって、
which one was betterとか、which one to take.のようにするとより自然になると思います＾＾

こちら上記のように”him”が聞えるのですが、なくてOKです。
He was left alone at home.

こちら音声だとテキストの内容とちょっと違いましたが、それが逆に良かったです＾＾
一つの表現にこだわらずに、伝わる表現を自由に使うことが出来ていますね。
